Research Interests:
  • Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI)
  • Dysphagia (Adult / Pead)
  • Motor speech disorders
  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

Service :
  • Coordinating Year 2 undergraduate program.
  • Assisting lecturers to conduct lectures and clinical examinations.
  • Assisting to supervise undergraduates at speech and language therapy clinics.
  • Conducting practical sessions to undergraduates.
  • Assisting in organizing and implementing workshops and guest lectures undertaken by the department.
  • Participating in research projects undertaken by the department related to the field of speech and language therapy.
  • Assisting students in their academics and research.
  • Assisting both the academic and non-academic staff on administrative matters.
  • Conducting speech and language therapy clinics at Ayati National Center for Children with Disabilities.
  • Organizing music group session on Every Thursday and attending EI group at Ayati National Center for Children with Disabilities and participating for the group session (communication cafe) in adult clinic at Ayati.
  • Attending to OPD clinics (Stroke unit) in North- Colombo Teaching Hospital, Ragama.
