හරසර - 2024
First-year students from the Department of Disability Studies proudly participated in “හරසර - 2024,” an exhibition held at Sri Dharmaloka College, Kelaniya, on October 4th, 5th, and 6th. Their stall, themed "You Belong," focused on the significance of inclusion, highlighting how children and adults with various disabilities are empowered through speech and language therapy, audiology, and occupational therapy. The student's hard work in preparing exhibits and resources effectively communicated the importance of inclusivity, making the Department proud of their efforts in promoting this vital message to the community.
Mr. Thilak Wanasinghe, certified Mendeley advisor and PhD candidate from the Department of Public Health, delivered an insightful skills-training session on Reference Management using Mendeley to the academic and clinical staff of the Department of Disability Studies on September 25th, 2024. The workshop highlighted the effective use of Mendeley in research, showcasing its latest features and capabilities.
