MISSION

Educate undergraduate speech and hearing science students, allied health care professionals, educators and the public

Provide patient oriented care in the early identification, prevention, diagnosis and rehabilitation of congenital and acquired speech, language, communication and hearing related impairments.

Conduct basic, applied and clinical research in the areas of speech, language, swallowing, communication hearing and disability
In a multidisciplinary environment of high-quality education that nurtures a spirit of inquiry, initiative, equality and social responsibility. Graduates of the department will have the knowledge, the skills and attitudes to be successful in providing services to the community, country and beyond as individual and leaders in a globalized health care environment
