International Communication Project 2014 (ICP 2014)
The right to communicate is a right shared by all. Communication takes many forms-- all unique, creative and valid. For instance, for some, this takes the form of speech or signing and for others, vocalizations, eye blinking, facial expression or an Augmentative or Alternative Communication device such as a communication chart or an Ipad etc.
The International Communication project "aims to highlight the importance of human communication and how communication disabilities severely impact every aspect of life. It specifically aims to encourage people around the world to join together and make a difference in the lives of people living with communication disabilities"

As part of our commitment to the International Communication Project 2014, our BSc (Speech & Hearing Sciences) students and the Department of Disability Studies are organizing an event each month to highlight the importance of communication and opportunities for inclusion.
