Workshop on Grooming and Etiquette for BSc Speech & Hearing Sciences and
Occupational Therapy students, Faculty of Medicine
A workshop on ‘Grooming and Etiquette’ was successfully completed on the 1st of September 2025 at the Main Auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya. This was
conducted by a renowned personality development and grooming coach, Mrs. Deepthi Perera. This workshop aimed to develop the soft skills of undergraduates in terms of
grooming and etiquette, enhancing their personality and quality as healthcare professionals.
The workshop organized collaboratively by the Career Guidance Unit and Department of Disability Studies was generously funded by the Faculty of Medicine, under the patronage of
the Dean, Senior Prof. Madawa Chandratilake. First-year students of BSc Speech and Hearing Sciences (Batch 17) and BSc Occupational Therapy (Batch 4) enthusiastically
participated in this workshop. Funds for this workshop were generously provided by the Faculty of Medicine.
