Workshop and Training Session on Advancement of Hearing Aid Technology

An enlightening workshop and hands-on training session focused on "Advancement of Hearing aid Technology" was held on 18th July 2023 by the Department of Disability Studies and Ayati Center in collaboration with Wickramarachchi Hearing Care and Phonak Asia Pvt Ltd.
The workshop featured Ms. Lay Choo SNG, an Australia-accredited Senior Audiologist and Brand Champion for Phonak Asia, as the distinguished resource person. With active participation from more than 50 Audiology students, External Audiologists and faculty members, the event proved to be a valuable learning experience.
During the program, participants explored the most recent advancements in hearing aid technology. Topics covered included the Lumity Platform, Pediatric Amplifications, CROS hearing aids, the Roger System, and Serenity Choice ear plugs. This event served as a platform for enhancing knowledge and fostering collaboration in the field of audiology.
