RAGAMA CRICKET FEST ’25- “Bound by Medicine, United by Cricket; Where Freshers Meet the Field’’

The Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya, hosted a friendly softball encounter, “Ragama Cricket Fest ’25’’ on Monday, 3 rd November 2025, from 1:00 p.m. onwards at the Hostel Grounds Premises. This was conducted parallel to the orientation program for the newly enrolled 37th MBBS batch. 

The event brought together the faculty community in the spirit of teamwork, with five teams representing the 36 th MBBS batch, 37 th MBBS batch, academic staff, non-academic staff, demonstrators and research assistants taking to the field for an afternoon of sportsmanship and fun.

The encounter served not only as a friendly competition but also as a platform to strengthen bonds among students and staff beyond the academic setting. The event was filled with enthusiasm, team spirit, and unforgettable moments, making it a delightful highlight of the orientation program.

The faculty extends its appreciation to all participants and organizers for their efforts in making the event a resounding success, truly reflecting the unity and vibrant spirit of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya.
