Higher Diploma in Crime Investigation

HDCI conducted by the University of Kelaniya and National Police Academy is a 60 credit two year programme delivered at the level 4 of Sri Lanka Qualification Frame work. This programme was developed under the MOU between University of Kelaniya and the National Police Academy and offered to Senior Gazetted Officers and Gazetted Officers (Inspectorate) in the Sri Lanka Police Service.  The course is aimed to produce a practical police officers with sound knowledge, skills and attitudes in crime investigation. The conduction of the course is coordinated by the Department of Forensic Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya with the assistance from the National Police Academy.
