Inauguration of Master of Public Health in Epidemiology Degree Program (Batch 8)
The inauguration of the Master of Public Health in Epidemiology Degree Program (Batch 8) was held on Friday, the 23rd of January, from 9 am to 12 noon at Vistaara, Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya.
The chief guest of the event was the WHO representative for Sri Lanka Dr. Rajesh Sambhajirao Pandav. The event was gracefully presided over by Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Senior Professor Madawa Chandratilake, and Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies Prof. Priyani Paranagama, academic staff and resource persons of the course, university administration staff, alumni, and students of the 8th intake.
The chief guest, Dr. Rajesh Sambhajirao Pandav, spoke about the importance of public health in times of crisis. The event was organized by the Department of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya.
