Second Hand Item Sale 2025 by Kelaniya University Faculty of Medicine Teachers’ Association (KUFMTA)
For the third consecutive year the Kelaniya University Faculty of Medicine Teachers’ Association (KUFMTA) organized a secondhand item sale on 19th December 2025.
Pre-loved clothes, jewelry, shoes, bags, books, and household items were donated by the staff members and displayed for purchase at the library basement. Students and staff purchased these items for low cost, and all proceeds from the sale were directed to the ‘free food tag’ system at the hostel canteen run by the KUFMTA.
The KUFMTA secondhand item sale is expected to promote the culture of decluttering and sustainability and keep up the spirit of sharing and generosity during the Christmas season.
