The Health Data Science Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya, hosted a certificate awarding ceremony on April 05, 2025, celebrating the achievements of the 6th batch of students from the Certificate Course in Information Technology and the 1st batch of students from the Certificate Course in Hardware and Basics of Networking.  Held at the Faculty of Medicine auditorium, the event also marked the official commencement of the 7th and 2nd batches of the respective programs.  A total of 54 students received certificates recognizing their successful completion of the Certificate Course in Information Technology, while 13 students received certificates for completing the Certificate Course in Hardware and Basics of Networking.

Professor Madawa Chandratilake, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, served as the chief guest for the occasion. Mrs. W.E.M. Wagalath, Senior Assistant Registrar, along with staff members of the Health Data Science Unit, students, and their families, were also present at the event.
