Symposium on Centering Sexual and Reproductive Health and Justice in Health Care

The 136th Anniversary International Medical Congress was held at the BMICH, Colombo from 25 – 28th July, 2023 with the presence of medical and legal professionals under the Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA) theme for 2023, “Towards Humane Healthcare: Excellence, Equity, Community”. Senior Prof. Anuruddhi Edirisinghe Cadre Chair and Senior Professor of the Department of Forensic Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya conducted a session at this symposium on, “Legal and Policy Barriers Women and Adolescents face when accessing Sexual & Reproductive Health Activities”. In addition, sessions were conducted by Dr. Suchithra Dalvie and Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Dr. Prabodhana Ranaweera. .
