An LOA was signed between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka

An LOA was signed between United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the University of Kelaniya Sri Lanka to conduct a nationwide study on the 'Progression and Patterns of SGBV cases in Sri Lanka during the period of 2013-2023'. This study is in line with the High Commission of Canada in Sri Lanka | Haut-commissariat du Canada au Sri Lanka funded 'Ensuring Justice for Victim-survivors of SGBV in Sri Lanka' project jointly implemented with UNFPA Sri Lanka. The results of this study will provide valuable insights that will support the design and implementation of evidence-based programmes, policies and advocacy efforts regarding SGBV in Sri Lanka. The LOA was signed by UNDP Sri Lanka's Resident Representative Ms. Azusa Kubota and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya Prof. Nilanthi De Silva.
