Faculty of Medicine becomes runners-up in Inter-medical Faculty Internal Medicine Quiz - 2023

The inter-medical faculty Internal Medicine Quiz 2023, organized by the Sri Lanka College of Internal Medicine (SLCIM) was successfully concluded on the 03rd of October 2023 as a virtual event.

A team from batch 29 of the MBBS programme, Mr. Ashik Ahamed. Mr. Dihan Caldera, Ms. Sanjalee Ranawaka, Ms. Nirmitha Morel and Mr. Jishal Gnanarathna represented the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya and became the second runner-up.

Prof Chamila Mettananda, Prof Shaluka Jayamanna and several other academic staff members were instrumental in mentoring the team. The Health Data Science Unit (HDSU) provided the IT facilitation.
