The staff of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya organized an inter departmental sports and talent competition in conjunction with the 30^th Anniversary celebrations of the faculty. Staff members from 22 departments and units came together to compete each other in sports and a talent show. Academic, non-academic and temporary staff members of all departments and units actively participated in this series of events.  

Men’s, women’s, and mixed double carrom and badminton matches were held at the gymnasium of the Faculty of Medicine. The interdepartmental 5-over cricket encounter was held at the Faculty grounds. Each team consisted of 4 male and 2 female members.

The final component of the entire event was held on the 16^th of May 2023 at the main examination hall. Marks obtained for sports and the talent show were calculated to select the most talented department of the Faculty of Medicine.

The above activities were organized in collaboration with the academic and non-academic staff of the Faculty of Medicine.
