The certificate awarding ceremony for the 4th batch of students in the Certificate Course in Information Technology, organized by the Health Data Science Unit of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Kelaniya, took place on August 3, 2024. This event also marked the inauguration of the 5th batch of the same course and was held at the Faculty of Medicine auditorium. A total of 41 students who successfully completed the course were awarded their certificates. The ceremony was graced by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Professor Madawa Chandratilake, who served as the chief guest. The event was attended by the Senior Assistant Registrar of the faculty, Mrs. W.E.M. Wagalath, along with Health Data Science Unit staff members, students, and their parents.
