The debating team, Ragama Asclepius, of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya was able to emerge victorious as the "Title Winners" of the Voice Debating Competition in the English category, which was hosted by the media unit of the University of Sri Jayawardhanapura. The Kelaniya Medical Faculty team consisted of the captain, Sithiji Meshel DeSilva, and the second speaker Krishanni Prabagar, who are third-year students and the third speaker, Bawantha Moonamalle Abeygunawardena, who is a second-year student.

The captain, Sithiji Meshel DeSilva also won the title of "Best Debater" and the third speaker, Bawantha Moonamalle Abeygunawardene won the title of "Best Point Breaker".

The final round was held in the main auditorium of the Faculty of Technology, University of Sri Jayawardhanapura on 10th April 2021. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Mr. J.M.M.G Wijeyeratne Bandara, Deputy Director of Sri Lanka Customs. The opposing team was FMS USJ1 from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sri Jayawardhanapura. About 43 debating teams from different universities all around Sri Lanka participated in the preliminary rounds of this competition.
