Select your Batch and the Course Strand from the e-Kel web page (https://medicine.kln.ac.lk/index.php/cal-mbbs.html)

You will navigate to the e-Kel, asking you to log in. After successfully login, it will open the Courses list. Click on the Course to access the course content

OR

Login to the e-Kel and select the “Dashboard” from the main menu.

e-Kel has the latest Moodle version and installed a number of add-ons to enhance its features, including:

1. e-Kel now supports H5P which enables uses to create interactive content which can be more attractive to students (such as adding questions to a video clip and showing them while the video is running). This feature is available as an activity in e-Kel. For more information/support, visit www.h5p.org
   
   
2. Zoom is also integrated into e-Kel. Users can create Zoom based sessions from e-Kel. This feature is available as an activity in e-Kel. For more information/ support, visit ict.kln.ac.lk and select Zoom.
   
   
3. A video player also has been added to e-Kel. Select Eduplayer as an activity. This can be used to play different types of videos including mp4, mp3, etc.
   
   
4. Microsoft OneDrive and Google Drive have been integrated into e-Kel. Now, users can directly upload files from their OneDrive and Google Drive to e-Kel.
   
   
5. If you need more information/ support please contact the ICT Centre of the University. Please let us know, if need additional features to be added to e-Kel (provided they are available as add-ons).

e-Kel has a file upload limit of 1GB. PLease check the size of the file. If the file size exceeds 1 GB, you may need to compress the file and upload to e-Kel, If it is a video file, try to convert the into to mp4 format and upload to the e-Kel, Please watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32RS87BhKhc&feature=emb_title to learn how to convert the video into compressed formats that the  reduce file size without affecting the video  quality.
