Surveillance for on-going transmission of lymphatic filarial infections following mass preventive chemotherapy in the western province; assessment of morbidity and morbidity management aspects of lymphatic filariasis(knowledge, services etc); filaria diagnostics including application of RDTs and molecular methods; Investigation of zoonotic filarial infections impacting on public health and their transmission dynamics; Mapping of foci with residual lymphatic filarial infections following the declaration of lymphatic filariasis elimination status in Sri Lanka
