AUGMENTATIVE AND ALTERNATIVE COMMUNICATION (AAC)

RESEARCH ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT

The research conducted is focused on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and its impact in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs). In addition, this line of research also examines low-technology tools that can be implemented in low resource contexts such as Sri Lanka. The research activities conducted provide information not only on Sri Lanka but also inform AAC practices in other LMICs as well.
