Child & Adolescent Psychiatry- Ayati Centre- Services we offer


The consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist assesses and manages children and adolescents with emotional, behavioural, and learning problems. The speciality treats clients from birth to 20 years. Children with psychological stress, anxiety, depressive symptoms, school refusal, inattention, hyperactivity, and autistic symptoms are seen and managed. Adolescents with aggressiveness, academic deterioration, screen addiction, self-harm and relationship issues are treated as well.


The assessments conducted include clinical child and adolescent psychiatry assessment, learning assessment, non-verbal intelligence assessment and licensed psychometric assessments: e.g., ADOS-2, 3Di.

The treatment strategies include supportive psychotherapy, cognitive therapy, behaviour therapy, brief psychodynamic therapy, brief solution-focused family therapy, child-parent dyadic psychotherapy and psychopharmacology.
