

Ayati centre is the 1st National center in Sri Lanka that has initiated to empower children with disabilities through innovation and technology to educate children with mobility, visual, learning, hearing, and communication difficulties. They are provided opportunity to learn new skills and engage in education to reach for their dreams by identifying their potentials through technology.
Ayati Firmly believes in the education for all keeping with the convention on the Rights of children with disabilities and Rights with persons’ with Disabilities.
The families seeking services at Ayati are empowered by dedicated Ayati staff to believe in their dream together with them about bright future. To achieve this vision, keeping with the latest advancement in Science and technology when providing care for children with disabilities. We have initiated many projects to serve our families and children using digital technology. Some of these services are;
We Assess and provide intervention for all children with CVI using digital modalities such as lit-up visual aids, lit-up motilities to train their vision and other complications
We assess and intervene children who could be benefited from using digital AAC for communication difficulties.
Ayati will liaise with educational facilities to train children to use technology in the classrooms including hearing aids, tablets, laptops and with other necessary modifications in environment.
We have initiated telehealth services to serve thousands of children with disabilities to empower them though the tele-communication
