Green Practices Committee together with Students Green Society, Alumni Association and Centre for Sustainability Solutions planned to undertake a vegetable gardening project at the faculty premises. The aim of this project is to bring the faculty community together to face the economic crisis also to inculcate the attitudes of social responsibility and volunteerism.

Our waste reduction program is based on Reduce, Reuse, Recycle principles and then directing to biogas production and composting. We believe in reduction and reusing before recycling.

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of our faculty a beach clean-up project was organized to remove the nurdles and the plastic litter that is washed on shore. This project was held on the 4th of December.
