Health Data Science combines statistics and computer science to generate evidence-based solutions to real world health problems by critical thinking and applying analytical methods.
The Health Data Science Unit undertakes, integrates and expands undergraduate and postgraduate teaching related to health Data Science. The unit also conducts interdisciplinary research, designs and develops healthcare information systems, maintains the ICT services to both students and staff at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya.
