Taking a step towards enhancing student well-being and academic involvement, the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya proudly unveiled its newest addition, an open seating area "SIM", which stands for "Socialize, Interact, and Move for a Better Future.”
This thoughtfully designed space supports students’ mental health, encourage interpersonal connections, and gives the opportunity for collaborative learning.
The official opening ceremony was held on the 4th of April 2025 with the presence of the Dean, special invitees, academic staff, members of the alumni association, and student representatives.
