In addition, an inter-departmental sports competition was launched to promote cohesion between departments and improve physical activity among academic and non-academic staff members. The badminton and carrom tournaments were held under men, women, and mixed double categories. Due to the socio-political and economic crisis in the country semi-finals of both Badminton and carrom as well as the inter- departmental cricket tournament was postponed indefinitely. A points table will be used to select the best performing department.
