Photo booth at MedKel 2016 Medical Exhibition
On 31st of June 2016, Photography Society Decided to do a photo booth as a fund raising project at MedKel 2016 medical exhibition so that society can buy some photography equipment.
Mr. Upul Jayathta Ranepura who is lecturer at Department of Fine Arts, University of Kelaniya given us the necessary contact details and technical details needed to arrange a photo booth.
On 21st September 2016, Canon Metropolitan Photo Hub sponsored MedKel 2016 photo booth by presenting a Canon 1300d camera and Canon 430EX II Flash light for the Society. Epson Debug Computer Peripherals sponsored MedKel 2016 photo booth by supplying two printers and 200 photo papers free of charge.
During 23rd to 29th of September 2016, MedKel 2016 Photo booth was successfully held taking 2525 photos and given an income of 252 500.00 LKR to the exhibition fund with the intention of requesting photography equipment for the society. Photography society got cash advance total of 70000 LKR from the exhibition fund for the expenditure of photo booth.
