The department of surgery of the university of Kelaniya in collaboration with the MOH and the planning unit conducted a course for the Junior staff at the NCTH with the main emphasis on helping the personal development and to improve the quality of hospital work among them. The entire module consists of 9 topics which will be covered over a period of 9 weeks. The learning module will consist of lectures as well as clinical demonstrations. The course has 20 Junior staff members enrolled and at the end of the course they will be subjected to a post evaluation test and on successful completion of the course they will be awarded a certificate.
