PROGRAMME ON COMMUNITY PALLIATIVE CARE

The orchestra of the Faculty of Medicine performed at a sensitizing programme on Community Palliative Care organized by the Palliative Care Association of Sri Lanka with Saukyadana Movement. This was successfully held at the BMICH on 10th October 2015 from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm. The objective of the programme was to provide a glimpse of Community Palliative Care to school children and motivate them to join in palliative care activities in the society in a manner that is comfortable to them. About 400 school children from Gampaha, Kaluthara and Colombo participated in this event.
