Samarasingha on January 11, 2009, on the invitation of A.R. Wickramasingha Dean, Faculty of Medicine University of Kelaniya, at a ceremony organized by the Coordinator of Cultural Centre Project, Dr. PatricRatnayake University of kelaniyaand Dr.M.H.J. Ariyarathna and Dr. M.U.P.k. Peristhe members of Art Council University of Kelaniya.
