" Senehasa " Community Welfare Project

The inaugural stride of " Senehasa " : Relaxation Music Session, a community welfare project organized and conducted by the Cultural Centre of the Faculty of Medicine. University of kelaniya in collaboration with the Faculty members and sponsors was held 30 th October, 2014 at the preclinical Auditorium of professor Nilanthi be silva, the dean of the faculty.

Eighty pregnant mothers of the community along with their spouses were present at the session where mind relaxation music was performed by both undergraduates of the Faculty and artists of the Ministry of the Cultural Affairs.

A practical session on lullabies was also among the event lineup of the programme.

This relaxation music session will be conducted for a selected group of pregnant mothers of the community on monthly basis.
