"Sahurda Asapuwa" 2019

“Sahurdha Asapuwa ‘19”, which was organized to showcase the talents of academic, non-academic staff members and the undergraduates of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya, was ceremoniously held on 27th of March 2019 from 4 p.m to 6.15 p.m at the open air theater of the Faculty. 

The chief guest of the event was Senior Prof. P.S. Wijesinghe, Dean, Faculty of Medicine. Event was graced by the coordinator of the Cultural Center, Prof. Anuruddhi Edirisinghe, Senior Lecturer Dr. Shiromi Perera, academic and non- academic staff members and the undergraduates of the Faculty. 

Delivering the welcome speech, the coordinator of the Cultural Center, Prof. Anuruddhi Edirisinghe highlighted the importance of organizing these kinds of cultural events to promote the interpersonal relationships among staff members and to maintain the psychological well-being. 

The Officer-in-charge of the Cultural Center, Mr. K.A.K Kodituwakku, organized the “Sahurdha Asapuwa ‘19” in collaboration with the non-academic staff members of the faculty under the guidance and the supervision of Senior Prof. P.S. Wijesinghe, Dean, Faculty of Medicine and the coordinator of the Cultural Center, Prof. Anuruddhi Edirisinghe.
