Perambara  2017

The Perambara cultural show, an annual concert, that provides a platform for the freshers to exhibit their aesthetic talents was held on 2016.12.14 from 4.30 pm to 7pm at the amphitheater of the faculty. A variety of items including music fusions, modern and classical dances were presented by the students of MBBS batch 28 in the event. With the senior counsel of the dean of the faculty, Professor. Nilanthi de Silva and the financial sponsorship of the art board, the show was organized by the Cultural Centre of the faculty. Dr. M.U.P.K Peiris, Senior Lecturer, Head of the Department, Department of Psychiatry, Mr. K.A.K Kodithuwakku in charge of the Cultural Centre, Students of the senior batches and the families of the freshers were present to witness the evening of mesmerizing talents.

The show was a part of the freshers’ orientation program and around 130 first year undergraduates took part in the items. The performance of the foreign students of the batch that brought the unique culture of their country to light was a highlight of the show. The cooperation of the senior students in the organization of the cultural show was especially notable throughout the process this year.
