5th place in the 15th IMSPQ for the Professor A. Raman Challenge Trophy won by students of the 26th batch in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya.
The 15th Inter-Medical School Physiology Quiz for the Professor A. Raman Challenge Trophy was held at the University of Malaya, Malaysia on the 16th-17th of August 2017. A five member team of students from the 26th batch of MBBS students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya were semi-finalists in this event, and were placed 5th out of 100 universities who competed for the Trophy.
The students who represented the University of Kelaniya were Ms. V.T. Martin, Ms. S.H. Dissanayake, Ms. F.N.M. Nasar, Mr. J.R.P. Samarathunga and Ms. J.A.P.H. Jayasinghe.Dr Dulani Kottahachchi, Senior Lecturer in Physiology, accompanied the team.
A Physiology Art competition was also held parallel to this and Kithmini Jayaweera from the same batch won the second place out of 20 submissions.
