Outbound Training Programme – 2025

The Department of Parasitology held its fourth outbound training program on November 6, 2025, at the Royal Palms Beach Hotel, Kalutara. This annual event, conducted as part of the Department’s strategic plan, brought together academic, non-academic, and research staff to strengthen teamwork and support corporate yearly planning.

The 2025 programme focused on advancing microscopy and integrating AI-based tools to improve parasitic disease diagnostics and research applications. Staff also reviewed departmental progress and discussed future research priorities and grant opportunities.

The event provided a productive platform for all staff categories to contribute to planning for the upcoming year, reinforcing collaboration and aligning departmental goals with institutional priorities.
