The concept of the Lama Piyasa isto have a separate purpose built / prepared ward for victims of child abuse and neglect in health institutions, to provide comprehensive care in a secure, homely environment with regard to the management of,

• • Medical/ legal issues
  • Psychological sequelae of abuse and
  • Assessment and provision of psycho-social needs of the victims of abuse in liaison with the relevant agencies.

• Other than the in-patient management and long term follow up, the facilities for recording of video evidence from child victims are also available at the Lama Piyasa.
