A transplant team headed by the staff of faculty of Medicine and NCTH, Ragama together with expert doctors scattered across the country, was able to perform a living-donor liver transplant for a 9-year-old girl who had cirrhosis of the liver.

  • Participation in the Board of Study in Paediatrics, Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, University of Colombo
  • Academic contribution to the Sri Lanka College of Paediatricians.
  • Training postgraduate registrars and senior registrars in paediatrics
