2011 Medical Exhibition Legal Medicine Section
Legal Medicine Section was one of the main attractions of the Medical Exhibition 2011 held on 5th 10th September at the faculty premises. The students with guidance from the academics developed various stalls. (Trauma, Scene visit examination, Natural deaths, Torture and Human rights, Firearm and Bombs, Sexual abuse, Abortion and Road Traffic Accidents) Police SOCO Unit of Sapugaskanda, Bomb Unit of the STF, Prison’s Department, Human Rights Commission, Teaching and Training unit of the Traffic police joined with the Forensic Medicine Department for the success of the exhibition. A documentary film on a conduction of a post-mortem examination was also produced by the department with the help of the audio-visual unit.
