Felicitation of the Forensic Debate Team - 2026
The forensic medicine debating team of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya, who secured the First Runner-Up position (Split Decision: 2:1) at the 5th Inter-Medical Faculty Forensic Medicine Debate Competition - 2026, was felicitated at the Faculty Board Meeting Room on 07th April 2026.
The Dean of the Faculty, Senior Professor Madawa Chandratilake, recognized the team’s outstanding achievement and presented certificates and medals in appreciation of their performance. Senior Professor Indira D. G. Kitulwatte, who served as the academic coordinator, provided continuous guidance and support to the team throughout the competition. The event highlighted the team’s dedication, academic excellence and contribution to bringing recognition to the faculty.
