This title was awarded to a team consisting of members from the Department of Family Medicine - Faculty of Medicine, the Department of Statistics and Computer Science - Faculty of Science, The Department of Sinhala - Faculty of Humanities in University of Kelaniya for the production of COVItriage web application during the pandemic situation of the country. This project was a multidisciplinary team work which involved inter-departmental, inter-faculty, inter-university, inter-ministerial and public and private partnerships. The web application helped the general public who became COVID positive to make a decision whether to get admitted to the hospital or whether to stay home. If they are staying home, the application provides necessary advice for the patients for a smooth quarantine period and answers to the frequently asked questions.
